Hearing Kids Gain In Preschool’s Reverse-Inclusion

A Minnesota-based preschool program using the spoken-language approach with children who have hearing issues is expanding after families saw their hearing children gain from being in the same language-heavy environment.

    “Reverse inclusion” enables children with hearing devices to interact with hearing children, become familiar with typical peer speech and language, use their communication skills independently, develop socially and move toward the hearing world.
