Attendees of the CESI 2012 conference last February, will recall the live captions that were requested by Sound Advice’s Caroline Carswell, to facilitate her access to the sessions – and to give a live demo in her own presentation.
Live Captions Retained A Full Day At CESI 2012
The CESI organisers arranged these live captions for the morning – from which a transcript was web-cast online. This web-cast was so popular with conference followers online, that the captioners were retained for a full day.
TeachNet, the online portal that encourages Irish teachers at primary and second-level to publish quality digital content online, has reviewed Sound Advice’s CESI presentation in its blog, with very positive views on the live-captions.
