edcoDigital Invites IDK To Submit Lesson Plans

Earlier this year, IDK was invited to submit lesson plans to edcoDigital, the online teachers’ resource devised by The Educational Company of Ireland.

IDK’s lesson plans for primary and post-primary level are now available via the edcoDigital resource website, which is designed for teachers to deliver easy-to-use digital content from the Irish curriculum, within the classroom.

Teachers can use the edcoDigital site to engage tech-literate pupils by showing textbooks on a screen, with interactive text and images. At primary level, IDK’s lesson plans complement edcoDigital’s Windows on the World 1 & 2 books, and English programme books Sunny Street Band 1TRB & 2TRB.

With SPHE a core focus at post-primary level, IDK’s lesson plans accompany edcoDigital’s SPHE books 1, 2 and 3. The Educational Company of Ireland, the country’s leading educational publisher, produces a range of textbooks, digital material and resources for the national curriculum.
